July 30-Aug 1 Summer Camp

ARTIST FOCUS: Frida Kahlo was a Mexican painter known for her many self-portraits and works inspired by the nature and artifacts of Mexico. She loved dancing and crowds and had a ferocious sense of humor. She delighted in pets and adored children, who she treated as equal, which are found often in her art. She had a lust for life and valued honesty, especially to self.

Small Group: 6-8 campers

This 3 day series is curated for ages 10-15 who want to walk away with a fun, playful art experience, new connections, and art skills.

We will be focusing on the work of Frida Kahlo. We will be creating mirrored self portraits, shadow boxes, painted flower crowns and more! Our camps create a safe environment for practicing social emotional intelligence and building confidence to be accessed in all areas of your child's life.

Camp includes all art materials and snack, please bring a water bottle.
